Do you realize that the climbing experience is heavily influenced by the type of handhold on your wall? This is THE physical interaction point of the entire experience. For beginners you need handholds that are large, comfortable, and plentiful. Intermediate and advanced climbers need interesting shapes and smaller sizes that challenge them.
Stationary climbing walls should seriously consider rearranging and even changing out climbing handholds on a monthly basis to keep the climbing interesting for return customers. You MUST give them a reason to climb again.
Mobile operators should tailor the experience to first time climbers. We recommend that greater than 75% of your handholds are large and comfortable for beginners. You might consider adding additional handholds to climbing routes with open t-nuts.
We stock a wide variety of shapes and sizes, but we may need build your handhold order. Give us a call if your order is time sensitive or if you have a specific mix of colors and sizes that you need.
